  A Special Place to Feel at Home

  Liked: A wonderful stay in Ragusa Ibla! Danila and Gianni are exceptionally warm and helpful – they even picked me up from the train station. The location is ideal: just two minutes from Piazza Duomo, yet away from the hustle and bustle. I particularly appreciated the spacious room with its French balcony and high wooden ceiling. The bed was comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. The bathroom, with its generous shower, was great too. The inviting communal area with its well-equipped kitchen and the terrace are further highlights. I was also impressed by the creativity and attention to detail the hosts put into renovating the house themselves. (Photo note: The one with the cactus shows the room’s balcony as seen from the terrace.) A charming guesthouse where you feel welcome right away. I would happily stay here again! P.S. On Danila’s tip, I tried the brioche with almond granita at Al Borgo and loved it.

  Disliked: A note for noise-sensitive guests: The Deluxe Room opens directly onto the communal area, so conversations can be heard in the room and even in the bathroom, as the sliding door doesn’t close completely. Guests who value peace and privacy may feel more comfortable in one of the other rooms.

  Liked: Beautiful space and close to main sites. Friendly hosts. Would recommend hopping the bus from the station - stops outside ibla gardens and is frequent.

  Liked: I had a very comfortable stay. The hosts were very kind and helpful. My room was spacious, well decorated and the bathroom was clean and nicely made.

  Liked: The rooms are comfortable, and they are only 200m away from Ragusa Ibla's historic centre. The area is very quiet too.

  Disliked: It's not something I didn't like, but more of a warning to potential visitors; it is not very accessible to people with mobility issues. The place is historic and the location is accessible only by stairs.
