  We loved Santa Margherita. It was a beautiful place to visit.We probably wouldn’t stay here though

  Liked: The location was wonderful. The decor was very well presented.

  Disliked: We couldn’t contact the owner prior to arrival after they had received our money. There was no communication prior to the arrival. We were left standing in the street for an hour & a half. A fruit shop owner across the road was helpful & located a neighbour to get a phone number as the Booking com number was incorrect. When the owner arrived, she was apologetic but had no understanding of English. The stairs to the 5th floor was a marathon. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone with decent sized suitcases. The biggest issue is the shower set up. It was extremely slippery & my wife had a bad fall. The suction mat wasn’t a help as it caused more issues than it helped. Be warned!!

  Excellent! Perfect location. Nicely appointed apartment, very clean, comfortable

  Liked: Lovely lady met us. Only difficulty was that we don't speak Italian and she doesn't speak English. We managed though and she was very sweet. Nicely decorated apartment. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect location.

  Disliked: We bought food to make breakfast but couldn't get the induction stovetop to work. There were no instructions. We wondered if they were the Proper pots for induction??

  Great location and very fresh

  Liked: The apartment was well located and clean. It had all the facilities we needed. Beds in the main room were comfortable. The host was very nice and we got early check in and late check out. The natural light was good. Nothing was missing in terms of what we needed. The small terrace is a welcome feature.

  Disliked: 1. No lift 2. The second room bed is too small for 2 adults. We used the sofa cum bed in the hall for 1 adult which was not anticipated. 3. The bathroom lock did not work so we used a chair outside to block the same when in use. 4. The shower area is only blocked by a curtain and no door. So we have to block it with a bag to indicate in use. This was not anticipated. The toilet and basin area is not with the shower. The shower is outside. 5. Being on the highest floor the ceiling slopes down on the sides of the apartment. So tall people like me can bump our heads at times if not aware. 6. There is no wifi.
