Waterfront location with excellent views, near the train station

Liked: Great location on the water with a 5 minute walk from the train station. We had a second floor balcony room facing the water. The views of the Ligurian Sea are great! Room was fully updated inside and comfortable. We were also fortunate to get upgraded to the corner suite, with a huge balcony. This hotel has character and we loved the town of Santa Margherita, and very much enjoyed our 2 night stay.

Disliked: Some reviewers mention that the hotel is dated and needs upgrading. Other than the flaking paint on the exterior in some parts, I wouldn’t share this opinion. This is a lovely older “character” hotel.
