  It served a purpose for two nights

  Liked: Great location for Portofino and only a short walk into Santa Margherita Ligure. The outside looks great.

  Disliked: The inside is a major disappointment- it does not reflect the lovely exterior. Staff not very friendly and breakfast was not very appealing - don’t dare ask if there are any more croissants as you will get growled at!

  Great value for what you pay! And parking!

  Liked: Santa Margherita Ligure is a wonderful location to explore Portofino and Cinque Terre from. The coastal towns is stunning! Finding affordable accommodation (with parking) however, is not easy. This old Villa packs a punch with charm. Don’t expect bells and whistles or glamour. But do expect lots of fake flowers. I just needed a place to sleep as i explored the area - so this delivered and good value for what you pay for.
