  Very disappointing experience - Would not return

  Disliked: We stayed here as a family of four, with two children under 9, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. In fact, the conditions in the apartment were so uncomfortable that we had to leave and book alternative accommodation for our final night. The biggest issue was the heat. Our booking confirmation clearly stated that the apartment had air conditioning, so we booked expecting to have it available. However, when we arrived, there was no air conditioning in our apartment. We tried calling for assistance three times to find out how to operate it, but there was no answer. There is also NO WINDOW in the apartment, meaning there was absolutely no way to ventilate it. The temperature inside was close to 30°C, and we and the children were literally dripping with sweat while trying to sleep. None of us got any proper sleep that night. Don't look at the photos on the main page as they are again, generic. When we spoke to reception the following morning, we were told that the air-conditioning information on our confirmation was simply a generic description because some apartments have air conditioning. This is incredibly misleading. If a particular apartment does not have air conditioning, this should be in the booking confirmation, rather than allowing guests to believe they are booking an air-conditioned apartment. Another major issue was the lack of assistance after 6pm. There was nobody on site, and the telephone lines went unanswered. We were left to try and work out the key and the apartment facilities ourselves, despite making three calls for help. The apartment itself was spacious and the worktops appeared generally clean, but unfortunately there were ants crawling around the bottom of the floor appliances, which was another disappointment. There were, however, some positives. The views were amazing, and the lifeguard was genuinely lovely.

  A wonderful location with a stunning view

  Liked: Wonderful location overlooking the Italian coast. Apartment was well-equipped, spacious and with air-conditioning. Regular shuttle into town was very helpful.

  Disliked: Pool was wonderful but opening hours (9-1pm and 3-7pm) could be a little longer

  Great place for family

  Liked: Perfect view of see from the balcony, private parking, swimming pool and shuttle bus to city every hour. Overall it was a great stay. Love to stay again.
