  Liked: A very cozy old villa with an incredible sea view. We stayed here as a family — parents and two adult children — and had a wonderful time. The house has everything you need for a holiday. There’s also a swimming pool shared with a few other guests, but during our stay there were never more than two or four other people, so it was very comfortable. The property is surrounded by a large, old garden. The landscapes are fascinating, as well as the location, are designed in a very interesting way. I genuinely had an aesthetic delight just being there. You can walk to the sea in about 20 minutes. Just keep in mind that the way back is slightly uphill — but for us, it was actually a nice bit of cardio. Alternatively, you can drive down. Rapallo’s center is about a 40-minute walk or a 10-minute drive. Santa Margherita is roughly a 30-minute walk or 7-minute drive. We couldn’t get to Portofino by car because all the parking spaces were full, so it’s worth noting that you might need to take a taxi or a bus. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and with the stunning view from the terrace.

  Liked: The apartment is beautiful and perfect for a family. The outside terrace and the pool area is just beautiful and the views are stunning.

  Disliked: There was a smell of mildew in the rooms downstairs.
