  Magnificent villa and comfortable apartment lights up the rainy weekend

  Liked: The villa is beautiful, way beyond what the price would suggest. In our apartment, every bedroom had a very good ensuite bathroom; we had an incredible kitchen. Terraces, great views everywhere (even from one of the bathrooms). The apartment was arranged and decorated with impeccable taste and the kitchen was one of the best I ever had the good fortune to use. But most of the praise goes to our host Simona, who, when learning two of us were seniors, upgraded us to an apartment that had no internal stairs, and was helpful with everything else, too. (There was no breakfast offered but there is a supermarket conveniently close.)

  Disliked: I can't think of many things... the high-tech lock on the apartment door was a bit wobbly, sometimes it wouldn't open by the code, so we had to have the keys with us when we left.

  Liked: What a nice place to stay at! We were amazed by the design of the place and the views, especially from the tower on top. The owner of the place is such a beautiful and welcoming lady, we felt the care that was put onto every detail. 10/10, will recommend!

  Great stay in lovely villa in a great location in a lovely part of Italy

  Liked: Very, very helpful host Simona. Nothing was too much trouble. Great location near town/port & train station. Got bus to Portofino & Santa Margherita from bus stop right outside villa (don’t drive - use local transport). Great views over port & coastline. Lovely character building. Really enjoyed the Beach Club up the road. Simona organised this for us at short notice (had to pay fee) but was ideal on our last day.
