Liked: Casa di Terry is only a 15 minute easy walk from the train station. Along the way you can stop at Basilica di San Giovanni Evangeslista(free admission) and you will go past the Palazzo di Teodorico. Casa di Terry is located in Ravenna's centre very close to all the must visit monuments. Roberto was a wonderfull host, helpfull and attemptive making the stay easy going and pleasent. The house is decorated with all kinds of art (in my room there was a copy of a Degas), there is a garden in the back where Roberto grows some herbs and fruit, unfortunatly we have access to it during breakfast. My room was large, clean, comfortable and beatifuly decorated in a classical style. Thank you to Roberto.

Disliked: The only less-positive aspect would have to be the shower. My bathroom was nice, large, and clean, but the shower itself was less than ideal. The showerhead was fixed to the wall, which would have been okay if it weren’t so close to the wall, forcing me against the cold surface. The shower base was also really small, and the curtain was too close and kept clinging to me. It also didn’t prevent water from spilling out. I think the shower’s small size may have contributed to the underwhelming water pressure. If you have long, thick hair, you may find it difficult to rinse out the shampoo.

    Brilliant couldn’t have been better

Liked: Roberto was amazing - so friendly and welcomed us into his home. The house and rooms are filled with antiques and paintings - a beautiful atmosphere! The breakfasts were stunning. We had such a choice of continental or cooked. We chose muesli with goats yoghurt and walnuts - delicious! There was a choice of fruit juices and teas and coffees. We then chose croissants with pistachio cream -wow. We even chose the colour of napkin we would like!- all brought to the table in a lovely cosy breakfast room overlooking the garden. We had a great two nights here and I wish we could have stayed longer. One of the nicest places I have stayed in Italy.

    Disliked: I liked everything

    Impossible to fault!

Liked: It’s central location without being so close that it was noisy.

Disliked: Same as above. In addition it was characterful, comfortable and it was a pleasure to stay there.
