  A cool, unique stay in a lovely, relaxed, Tuscan hill town

  Liked: A cozy remodel home from around the 1600’s with, I’m guessing, the original ceiling and floors. A very cool and unique property in the quaintest little town. Morning coffee on the little roof top terrace and spinning tunes from the vast CD collection was a plus. The kitchen was stocked with an array of glassware and dishes. The host was very responsive and kind. There was even a welcome bottle of wine and a few snacks. Such a nice touch.

  Disliked: There are definitely many stories and stone stairs in this historic home. This was fine for us but perhaps not for toddlers or for elderly. A workout for sure if you’re going up and down a lot lol.

  Liked: The location was perfect. The unit was very unique and historical. Next to all necessities.

  Disliked: There are a lot of stairs, so it is not recommended for elderly or physically challenged.

  A house full of character, a few doors down from the very center

  Liked: A well-loved house originally constructed in the Renaissance, remodeled in 2002. It is full of a fantastic array of books and pictures everywhere. As a couple we lived on the top two floors; the uppermost floor has the living room and kitchen, and the floor below had a bedroom and a bathroom. Between the vestibule first floor and our bedroom/bath there was the other bedroom and bath. Most of our daily movements were easy, simply on those two upper floors; but to go directly from the vestibule to the top floor is significant exercise which we did not begrudge. Loved such things as the light and the brick floors. The bedrooms are in the back and therefore always quiet; the well-crafted small roof terrace overlooks the main street and the valley (it is worth taking the time and care to reach via a few aged wooden steps) Worth noting that the appliances such as the stove's burners, washer. microwave and the refrigerator worked very well, but there is no significant freezer space.
