Exceptional
Liked: Lovely accommodation right on the beach in Scilla. The communal living area and terrace are great spaces to use during your stay. The room itself was very comfortable, the bed was top quality. Excellent, friendly and accommodating host.
Disliked: Having to check out.
Excellent location and super friendly, helpful staff!!
Liked: Amazing location and very helpful staff.
Disliked: The room was quite small and a little worn in places.
Liked: Amazing place! Right on the sea. Beautiful views. Warm welcome from Andrea.
Disliked: Nothing at all.
Overall very disappointing and very overpriced
Liked: Massimo, who checked us in, was very nice and helpful
Disliked: The room was disappointing and the photos were misleading. The room was very small (not enough room to leave our suitcases out, repeatedly hit the TV on the wall because there was so little space between the mounted TV and the edge of the bed), the floors were not clean, and the room was dusty. The bathroom was very small with a small shower, the toilet seat and cover were broken, toilet didn't fully flush. There wasn't a single place to hang towels. The sign outside read "bed & breakfast," however there is no breakfast. This is essentially a more adult hostel - shared living area and kitchen, personal bathrooms. We were not able to leave our things in a secure place after check out. The location isn't bad - right on the beach. I asked for help making a reservation in advance of our arrival but was told I didn't need one despite recommendations from friends who were there the week before - of course, we did need one and Massimo helped make a reservation for the following evening, but our first evening plans were thrown off and we had difficulty finding a place to eat since it was later in the evening. Overall very disappointing and very overpriced. Really wished I'd booked something else.
Amazing location, great common spaces, but small and tired rooms
Liked: The location is indeed excellent, just a few steps away from the beach. The common areas, and the upper floor terrace, have great views to the water. The kitchen is well equipped. The host, a young man named Massimo, and the other staff member we met were both very friendly.
Disliked: The photos of the property are a bit misleading. Unless you rent the penthouse, the rooms are quite small. We were told we were put into one of the bigger rooms, and if that is true, I feel bad for anyone else. Our room had just one window, at the end of a long, narrow hallway far from our bed. The bathroom was very small, and there was long-term mold in the shower, the sink, and on the wall where the towel hooks were. The room had definitely been cleaned, but a more substantial deep cleaning, or possibly even renovation, is needed. Though the official sign on the gate to the property says “bed and breakfast”, the the property does not claim to provide a breakfast, only some free treats to start your day; dry crackers, jam, boxed milk, and juice, and perfectly decent coffee. There was certainly not any fruit or “home-baked cakes“, though these were mentioned in other guests’ reviews.
Incredible location and view, disappointed on arrival to find out photos online we thought we part of our two bedroom pe
Liked: The location was incredible
Disliked: Found it misleading the photos not indicating that the main room with a view was actually a common area
