Fabulous
A whole welcoming experience in a very picturesque beach and historic area
Liked: The location is as described and perfect for 4 days. The host was so helpful and accommodating. The little home was lovely.
Disliked: Nothing
Liked: The location was close to the sea, great restaurants and the town centre. We didn't meet our hosts but they were available by text and were quick to respond. Great spot
Disliked: Liked it all!
Amazing owners- very helpful. Perfect location- so close to the beach
Liked: Great location. Very close to the beach.
Disliked: We were looking forward to a washing machine as we had been travelling for one week but it is a very complicated manual portable machine. Didn’t use it. Also, a lot of street noise right outside the bedroom window until late at night so found it difficult to fall asleep. Wish they’d supply beach towels and an umbrella as we couldn’t enjoy the beach unless we went out to purchase towels.
Liked: The Location
Disliked: The apartment is nicely decorated and has a good location, only a 3-minute walk to the beach. However, it is very small — the sofa bed takes up the whole living room, and the bedroom is too tiny to even open a suitcase comfortably. Also, there was no AC in the bedroom, which was very uncomfortable in July heat. The host did not answer my messages until check-in time, even though we arrived earlier, and sent us a 70-page instruction manual that was overwhelming. There were locked closets (with blankets inside), which felt unwelcoming, and some personal-use items left in the bathroom (shampoo, toothpaste). During our stay, it was my sister’s birthday, and when I mentioned it, the host brought a cake — but later asked me to pay for it, which felt disappointing compared to the warm hospitality we experienced in other hotels in Italy. On the positive side, when I asked about a pharmacy after my daughter had a small scratch at the beach, the host was kind and helpful. Overall, the place is fine for a short stay if you don’t mind the size and lack of comfort, but it didn’t match the level of hospitality we experienced elsewhere in Italy.
Small but a good location
Liked: The location of the property was good but the property itself was a little underwhelming. It wasn't as clean as it could be and little bit cluttered with leftover items from previous guests or owner's own things. We were not staying long but if we were it would have been uncomfortable with no real natural light. It wasn't an expensive stay so in that case it was probably acceptable just not as spacious or bright as we would have liked. Our host communicated well when necessary and assisted us well when there was a loss of electricity. Our host also helped us arrange transport to the airport with an excellent and reasonably priced driver. We were extremely close to the beach which was a bonus and could easily access the main restaurants and sights.
Disliked: It could have been less cluttered and a bit cleaner with the back area requiring more security and a tidy up.
Exceptional
Liked: Best location, walking distance to the beach, the lift up to town, and the main train station. Place was clean and tidy. There were enough kitchen utensils to cook.
