Fabulous
Good stop over by the lake
Liked: The hotel has good view of the lake. Pools were good with plenty of room around. Pool bar and snack bar were particularly good. Room size good. Staff friendly. Breakfast quite good.
Disliked: We paid for a lake view room but didn’t realise there was a main road between the hotel and the lake, which spoils the view somewhat and is quite noisy. Some restaurants in walking distance but otherwise you need a car or taxi to get into Desanzo Del Garda. Rooms are a little tired and quite basic compared to other hotels in this price bracket.
So so hotel. Adequate but not in any way 4 star
Liked: I guess the location was good, right on the lake. There were decent facilities, if a little tired and dated now. The room was quiet.
Disliked: The hotel isn’t a four star. The facilities are dated. They work but I didn’t feel particularly comfortable. The room was like something from soviet Russia. Weirdly austere lol bathroom was definitely dated. However, if this doesn’t concern you the hotel is fine. Spa area was so so with that weirdly Italian process of being open times that suit them, not they guests. It closed at 5pm! The pool closed at 7pm!
Beautifully hotel to spend a couple of days at lake Garda
Liked: The staff was friendly. The room as well as dining room, pool areas, lobby and spa area were very clean. The breakfast was diverse with lots of good options. The location is nice with some great spots for swimming at lake Garda as well as a nice beachfront including a great restaurant and bar (both don’t belong to the hotel). The area around the hotel as a whole is well kept and beautiful to walk around and spend some time.
Disliked: It has to be mentioned that while there are some great spots outside the hotel to check out, the options are limited (restaurants, bars, waterfront locations). For more options Sirmione is not far but it does require a short car ride of about 15 Minutes + additional parking fees. The outdoor parking spaces were quite small leading to some occasions were we weren’t able to enter both sides of the car. We did not test the payed indoor parking.

Disliked: Hotel needs some refreshing. mold on bathroom silicone, worn toilet seat Umpleasant smell of cigarettes in room.

Liked: Located lake Garda separated by a road, trees obscured the best view, very helpful staff especially the restaurant waiter, good breakfast, good parking
