we were there only for one night stand, but it was very nice. private parking, close to the old town and the location is

Liked: Its a perfect location to Sirmione old town and its castle. Its right on the lake.
Worst Hotel experience EVER
Liked: The location was good and this is why we booked the hotel in the first place, however thats where to good part ends
Disliked: The whole hotel is very old and dated, it was possibly the worst hotel we have every stayed. the pool was terrible with broken slabs around the whole area, all the walls around are in need of paint and even the little shed where they put the sun loungers was old and almost falling apart. the rooms around the pool are not the best but the one allocated to our friends who we travelled with was disgusting, damp and looked more like a cabin to get changed in. The breakfast area was okay at best, but was cordoned off and that was the main route to the outside seating area. the tables outside were old and we did not sit there as the grass was long and unkept. the paving was a mess. In fact I would go as far as saying this place needs closing down and is in desperate need of renovation from top to bottom. We had booked this about 8 months before and as there were 4 of us, we had requested rooms of the same standard. that was certainly not the case, we thought our was bad, but our friends room was the one at side of the pool and was absolutely terrible. the price was not cheap to say the least and all the other hotels we stayed in over our 2 week holiday, where we paid the same sort of prices where 100 times better. needless to say we would never go back here. I suppose everyone will have their worst hotel experience and this one is our. I would suggest do not go here. we stayed a few years earlier in a place a few building down, which cost less and was great by comparison.
