Liked: The location, the fantastic view the staff everything! We were upgraded to a King Room with Spa bath with an amazing view of the sea and Vesuvius. Very comfortable king bed, exceptionally clean. The staff is very professional and helpful with services and information re travel and restaurants. I have to agree with previous comments that Porta Marina restaurant is excellent and should be added to the list. The hotel is a gentle slope up the hill overlooking Sorrento’s pedestrian area so you get to see the view every time you walk to and from the hotel.

Cozy Boutique Hotel with a Stunning View
Liked: LOCATION: The location of the Property was good for us, as it was higher on the hill, there was a STUNNING view of the Sea. But only a 15 minute walk into the main town. STAFF: all incredibly friendly & helpful, at all hours of the day- from the lovely women at Reception, to the bartender, cleaning staff and breakfast team. ROOM: We had the perfect view with a comfortable balcony. Very spacious rooms, bathrooms and large comfortable shower. Huge closet and drawers- plenty of space for clothes. Rooftop/Common Areas: The rooftop area with pool & Restaurant is nice to enjoy any time of the day.

Exactly what we needed
Liked: If you’re going to spend money somewhere in Sorrento, spend it here. This place is so, so cute and genuinely such good value for the price. It’s perfectly positioned overlooking the valley, with a beautiful terrace, a cute shared pool, and a side view of the mountains. It’s not the full panoramic Sorrento view but that’s where the extra $$$ comes in. Some rooms have hot tubs and bigger balconies, but we went with the basic room and honestly, it was amazing. There’s also a nearby beach you can access through the neighboring hotel for €35 per person. You’re also 15 minutes away from a free public beach that has a natural pool which is such a plus if you want to experience swimming in the deep blue water. Folks do swim at the marina too, so you could go there. Also, EAT AT PORTA MARINA! It is a must. Most importantly, the staff are incredibly hospitable and kind. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the main tourist areas and around 20 minutes all the way down to the marina—and that walk is genuinely one of the most beautiful you’ll take in Sorrento. It was such a unique experience in a country that can somehow feel fast, busy, and overwhelming. Helios and Sorrento slowed it all down for us. It felt like a little pause in the middle of the trip—quiet mornings, beautiful views, slow walks down to the marina, and nowhere we needed to rush to. Perfect value for the price. Would absolutely stay here again.

Liked: Staff at the property were really excellent and the room was very clean and sparkling. The room had an excellent view of the sea with a large balcony.
Disliked: Everything was wonderful and there was nothing that we didn’t like.

Liked: Great breakfast. Homemade baked goods. Service with a smile and great coffee. Great pool
Disliked: No Sidewalks directly adjacent to the property but that’s not the hotels fault. Walking to a few places along busy road requires attention.
