  Excellent stay at Casa Astarita

  Liked: Incredible stay at Casa Astarita! The room was clean and spacious and the location is perfect - it’s right on the main street, close to lots of restaurants, cafes, shops. You are also close to the train station, bus stops and the Marina, so it’s easy to visit other places as well. The hosts are very kind and friendly. Breakfast is also good. Cleaning gets done everyday.

  Wonderful breakfast

  Liked: Our room was charming, as was the common area. Our bed was comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot. The B&B is on a very lively street, which made it fun going out and coming home, especially at night. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We loved the sweet and kind women who prepared and served it. They made delicious scrambled eggs. Fruit, ham and cheese also were available, along with brown or white toast and a large selection of pastries and cookies. I really like the plain yogurt, although there also were fruit varieties, because there were nice dried fruits and nuts to add, along with the fresh fruit. It was nice to be able to have more than one cup of coffee, which was unusual in our experience in Italian accommodations.

  Disliked: Our room was pretty small, although that did not really bother us. There were no places to set your luggage, but there were two nice closets. The bathroom also was quite small, but it was well appointed and very very clean.

  Delightful Casa in the centre of Sorrento

  Liked: Beautiful centrally located historical home in Sorrento. We loved our stay here. The owners are so welcoming, it’s beautifully decorated and they serve a delicious breakfast. Thanks for having us!

  The location is great, and the rooms are clean. The security was somewhat questionable

  Liked: Clean and the women checking us in and helping with breakfast were nice and very helpful.

  Disliked: Front main door was often left unlocked because the door was difficult to close and lock. It was also equally tricky to unlock. We learned the hard way that the key has to turn to the right when unlocking and then you have to jiggle it and push hard. We had to call them for help and the person answering the door seemed frustrated that he may have to come help
