Exceptional
Liked: Had the best 6 nights at Lemon Factor! Carmella was a really sweet host and was always on hand if we needed anything. She sorted out airport pick up as well as personally dropping us off at the port on our last day. The room was spacious with a great balcony, everything was fresh and clean too. Lemon Factor is situated outside the town centre just up the hill but that suited us as it was very quiet and relaxing. I'd highly recommend Lemon Factor and the next time we are in Sorrento, we'll defo hope to to stop there again.
Disliked: Nothing, we had a really relaxing stay!
Liked: Lovely host, easy communication, clean. The reward for having to hike up the hill was one of the best restaurants we found in 6 weeks traveling Italy. Da Fillipo.
Disliked: Nothing serious. Breakfast was just okay. Tough hike uphill with a carryon and backpack. Recommend a shuttle if you have any issues.
Liked: We had a lovely stay in Sorrento and would definitely recommend this hotel. Our room and the breakfast area were both clean, tidy and well maintained. Carmela, our host, was incredibly helpful and always on hand whenever we needed anything. She gave us great recommendations for places to visit and beaches to go to, helped us reserve our day trip to Amalfi and Positano, and also assisted with restaurant recommendations. We had a small issue with the shower during our stay, but this was rectified immediately, which was really appreciated. Carmela was very attentive throughout our stay and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. One of the nicest touches was when we had an early start and she thoughtfully prepared breakfast for us to take with us, this was greatly appreciated. The location was perfect for us. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the station and it also doesn’t take long to reach the main town and attractions. It’s slightly away from the hustle and bustle, which we really liked, but still close enough to easily explore everything Sorrento has to offer. If you have mobility issues, you may prefer to take a taxi as there are some hills and walking involved, but for us the location was ideal. There is also a supermarket around a four-minute walk away, as well as a lovely pizza restaurant nearby, which was very convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Carmela’s hospitality and thoughtful touches really made a difference, and we would happily stay here again.
Liked: The host was communicative and we were able to leave our luggage after check out. The restaurant across the street was amazing.
Disliked: The AC in the room was just ok.
Sorrento stay with lemons
Liked: Comfy bed and spacious room. Within a lovely lemon garden setting. Carmela went out of her way to print for me when needed for a booking.
Disliked: Breakfast could be slightly improved. Lots of sweet cakes / pastries but would be improved with move savoury or hot breakfast.
Great value not too far from all the action
Liked: The host, Carmela, was very helpful and responsive. The room was pretty, clean, and had a very spacious bathroom. Short walk to the city centre.
Disliked: The AC wasn’t functioning properly.
