Exceptional
A great place to stay in Sorrento!
Liked: Its closeness to the sea and the marina and nearby shopping streets: everything is within walking distance; and a great view of the sea, the marina, all from your own balcony! And a very good restaurant in the same building.
Disliked: A little bit noisy from the operation of the kitchen. But it’s not a big deal for us.
I recommend for everyone to come and visit
Liked: The owner was so nice to us and helped us with everything, also the workers there so kind. And the view of the room fabulous.
Disliked: Everything was perfect so I don’t have any bad word.
Noisey and uncomfortable
Liked: The view was amazing and the room was clean.
Disliked: BE AWARE - This is one single room located smack in the middle is a very busy, noisey restaurant! Literally! The noise starts around midday and when we were there ran until midnight or just before. Earplugs didn’t work against the noise. We were shocked as we had no idea about this layout. You couldn’t even enjoy the balcony as they had a restaurant table less than 1metre away.
Disliked: You should be more open about the location (just nearby a restaurant). We were in early May (so before the season) & it was nice for a one-night stay. But for a longer stay it wouldn’t be so comfortable.

Magical stay in this oasis of a hotel in the dreamiest part of Sorrento
Liked: Relais del Mare is in a magical location in Marina Grande! Incredible views from the restaurant and your balcony - definitely make sure you get a room with a balcony! The staff are all so warm, welcoming, personable and thoughtful, most especially Imma, who is an absolute gem of a person. Giuseppe, the manager, and Salvatore, the bartender, plus Marco, Elvira and Connie, are all super lovely as well! You will adore meeting everyone and staying in this oasis of a hotel in the dreamiest part of Sorrento: Marina Grande.
