Liked: Good location: Had a wonderful time in and around Sorrento. Clean room: Both the room and the bathroom were perfectly clean. Good night's sleep: The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. Excellent air conditioning: The A/C system functioned very well. Convenient amenity: There was a small, well-working fridge in the room.
Disliked: Complete lack of basic amenities: There was barely enough toilet paper provided for a 4-night stay. Only hand soap was available, with absolutely no shower gel or shampoo provided in the bathroom. Unacceptable extra charges and zero service: Management charges additional fees for basic necessities like an extra roll of toilet paper or fresh towels. Furthermore, the room was never cleaned once during the entire 4-night stay. Unwelcoming and hostile attitude: When disappointment was expressed regarding the lack of amenities, management reluctantly handed over a half-used roll of toilet paper and leftover shampoo remnants. This gesture made guests feel unwelcome. Suspicious cash-only tourist tax: The tourist tax of €4 per person, per night (€32 in total) had to be paid strictly in cash. Management refused card payments for this, raising serious questions about financial transparency. Worn-out and stained linens: While the bedsheets were laundered and clean, they were noticeably torn and covered in permanent, visible stains. The property urgently needs to invest in new linens. Misleading description of the view: a ‘sea view' shouldn't require leaning out the window just to see the sea. Unreasonably early check-out time: Check-out is strictly enforced before 9:00 AM, which is exceptionally early for hospitality standards. It creates the impression that the property just wants to collect money and push guests out the door.
