  Great B&B, the owner is a gem!

  Liked: What a wonderful location! 3min walk to the main street in Taormina, lots of restaurants nearby (inc. literally across the street), supermarket (across the street), shops. Yet a staircase and a path away from the street, so it was super quiet. Andrea (owner, man) is happy, and fabulous - great communication to guide us to park at the Lumbi parking station (most of Taormina is in a ZTL), where we caught a frequent 10min free shuttle to the center of town, then the 3min walk. The room size is adequate, enough for two people, though it lacks a bit of "horizontal" space such as a table or a desk to put things on. The bed - and pillows - were the best we have had in Sicily! One small window as well as a door to a mini-balcony (with a small table and 2 chairs), which allowed for good ventilation; AC is good, quiet. The bathroom is small but functional. The breakfast is upstairs on the terrace, with an optional cover for the rain; good options for breakfast, sweet and/or savory (good omelette!) Andrea even bought us a slice of cake to celebrate another guest's birthday! Also, he kept asking "what's good? What can I do better?" I gave him a couple of ideas, and he was so thankful! We loved this B&B and Taormina (such views!!! And the Teatro Antico - WOW!)

  Disliked: You cannot be afraid of stairs - from the street to the alley that goes to the B&B and other buildings nearby, then up to the room - narrow staircase. But we took our time, i.e., one piece of luggage at a time, and it was no problem.

  Liked: We stayed 3 nights and everything was great. It's close to the main street. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious. Andrea is a excellent host.

  Excellent - we loved him and the place is clean and close to center of everything

  Liked: Andrea is a very good host - he is very attentive and asks all the time how things are going. He strives to do his very best for you. He provides daily room cleaning if you want it, a good breakfast with omelets and cornetto, pastries and fresh tomatoes, juice and water, plus the all important cappuccinos and coffee, or Americano's. He even offered us a card to pay for our breakfasts in some of the wonderful cafes in Taormina, on the days we were on an early excursion, (so we could not make his scheduled 8:30 to 10am breakfast time - that is wonderful. He is so nice and a loelasure to be around - a great guy. I can highly recommend his place for a very close to the center of town, in Taormina.

  Disliked: Nothing really - I just had a little trouble sleeping on the mattress, as my hip was a little sore - but that is my preference, I just need a little more give to the mattress. Also, I didn't mind the steps, (but people should know that it is 46 steps up to the front door to the Casa Andrea Bed and Breakfast. Just information for those with knee or hip problems or had new knees and hips put in recently).
