  Beautiful location, clean but very hot and far from city center

  Liked: Very clean and cute.

  Disliked: It was very very hot with no air conditioning. No one responded to my question about AC or request for taxi recommendation.

  Steer clear!

  Disliked: This is one of the worst places I’ve stayed in years. First of all the location is not convenient if you don’t have a car. Upon arrival we entered our room and realised that it was so small that there wasn’t an even enough space for our luggage. We opened the bathroom and it was so much hot and humid and there was a bad smell that didn’t go away. The toilet was inside the shower which of course was so uncomfortable. The sheets weren’t big enough for the mattresses and we kept uncovering them with the slightest movement. The air conditioner kept doing a noise. The bare minimum facilities that you expect to have were nonexistent. We ran out of toilet paper by the end of our stay. The cleaning lady only came one day and left half a roll of paper. Finally we messaged the owner a few times through booking and WhatsApp and received no answer!!! Steer clear of this place. It might appear to be cheaper that other places but for this service it should be way way cheaper! P.S.: I don’t understand so many good reviews. We have seen other places doing the same thing with fake reviews. Don’t fall for it.

  Great value for money in Taormina

  Liked: Great value for money, very clean. The lady let us leave our luggage before the check in time and the views to mount Etna are gorgeous.

  Disliked: It’s up in the hill, but we knew when we booked it. Ended up taking the via crucis stairs twice and it’s not that bad honestly.

  Liked: The view of apartment was good also it was very clean.

  Disliked: The staff very bad we wait one hour and half to take a response to give us the code of lockbox. The location very far from center it has a lot of stairs to go there. Also the wifi didnt work as well. For the value that we booked its not a good deal.

  Bad communication with host

  Liked: Good location with a nice view. Walking 3 mins to the bus stop and just 20 minutes walking down the hill to Taormina Centro.

  Disliked: The staff/owner is absolutely inattentive. I wrote to them weeks in advance, even translated to Italian, but there was no answer until they had to inform me checkin information. Furthermore, I booked sea view but there was “tree view” to someone’s garden. Wrote them but there is no answer, nothing at all. I had to call Booking.com’s customer service to sort it out. Booking.com’s customer service informed me that they couldn’t come to an agreement with the host to move me to the room that I paid for, therefore they could only offered me some credits to pay to my account. Mind you, they were still advertising another “sea view” room to that point on Booking.com and the price is higher compared to the normal room.
