The apartment offers great views and a memorable breakfast experience

Liked: I traveled with three friends from university, all ladies in their 50s, and we had a wonderful stay at Cohen Smart House in Taormina. The breakfast was fantastic, especially the fresh fruits, and the view of Isola Bella is absolutely stunning. It would have been even better if there were more coffee pods for the wonderful breakfast.

Disliked: A few things to note: there is no dedicated parking, so we parked along the street about 500 meters away, and you need to carry your luggage up the stairs. Communication with the host can be a bit abrupt at times; for example, before check-in we received a message saying: "Just to let you know, we do not tolerate disrespectful behavior. If you don’t like it, you are free to find another place; there is a waiting list of guests who would be happy to take this apartment." As a host myself, I feel that such comments before check-in and after checkout could be improved to provide a smoother and more excellent guest experience.

Nice apartment but unfriendly communication from owner side left a bad taste

Liked: Beautiful apartment with a lot of character, Great location, stunning view to the sea.

Disliked: Unfriendly communication both at check-in when there was misunderstanding about the check-in time and also next day when we reported about a water leakage in the apartment even though we ourselves managed to stop it in the middle of the night and prevent larger damage to the apartment.

  Superb location and apartment

Liked: Cohen Smart house is in the most picturesque part of Taormina. The apartment is superb and the view from the apartment and balcony has indescribable views of beauty across Isola Bella bay. The hosts of this apartment are amazing people and you will travel a very long time before you will come across people as kind and welcoming as these hosts. I became ill and they organised a Dr. for me straight away. We had many questions and they were incredibly quick and graciously patient in their response, with some great advice. I would highly recommend Cohen Smart House to anybody looking to visit Taormina. Everything about this apartment is superb, also the breakfast, especially the fresh fruit is so incredibly fresh and delicious. We will always treasure our memories in Cohen Smart House Taormina. Our kids loved every second of their visit. Thank you, Cohen’s. 😊
