  Liked: Perfect location right on the main shopping strip and very close to Porta Messina gate. Very good breakfast choice with lovely restaurants and bars nearby.

  Excellent location, outstanding staff and great beach access, but the rooms are small and dated, and the breakfast could

  Liked: Fantastic location – right in the middle of Corso Umberto, within walking distance of almost everything. * Amazing staff – incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. * Balcony with sea view – a big plus and a lovely feature of the room. * Free beach access – excellent shuttle bus service to Hotel Caparena, with complimentary access to the beach, sun loungers and parasol. * Lovely rooftop terrace – used for breakfast during the summer months. * Beautiful reception and entrance area. * Early departure breakfast box – although the food was disappointing, I appreciated the bottle of water and the apple.

  Disliked: Very small room – limited space, especially for a longer stay. * Small bathroom and shower – the shower was particularly cramped. * Tiny safe – only enough room for a passport and a few small items, with no space for a laptop. * Small TV. * Outdated rooms and bathrooms – they no longer meet modern hotel standards. * Poor sound insulation – noise from neighbouring rooms was easily heard. * Basic breakfast – acceptable, but nothing special. Outside the summer season, breakfast is served on the lower floor rather than on the rooftop terrace. * Traditional room keys – the hotel uses physical keys rather than key cards.
