  Clean but the noise is too much

  Disliked: The accommodation was clean, but it has a very old-fashioned style and could use some modernization. Unfortunately, the biggest issue for us was the noise at night. The property is right next to the road, and when trains pass, you can actually feel the building shaking. Our room was also next to the terrace, where groups of people would stay late at night drinking and talking, which made it very difficult to sleep. There were also some strange noises during the night, possibly from birds or pigeons around the roof, as well as a constant water-related noise. The water pressure was also quite low. Overall, the place was clean, but unfortunately the noise and lack of water pressure made our stay less comfortable than expected.

  Liked: The accommodation is clean. The beds are comfortable. There is a small fridge. You can buy beer, coffee, and croissants. The bus stop for Taormina is very close, which is excellent. The accommodation also has parking, which is a big advantage.

  Disliked: There is noise from the street because the accommodation is located right on the main road. Due to an unfortunate set of circumstances, the owner was annoyed that we arrived half an hour before check-in (which is not our usual practice), but he quickly became more polite. It’s not the owner’s fault, but there is no sidewalk leading to the bus stop or into town.
