Exceptional
Old world charm and modern comfort
Liked: Every corner of this property is tasteful decorated with enchanting artwork. The staff is welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was wonderful.
Great location and cleanliness. Not recommended for comfortable bed, easy access. Poor breakfast
Liked: Location was great but difficult to find. Google map doesn’t recognize the hotel address. However, it was very convenient to the old city center. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Room is outdated, bed uncomfortable. Room with terrace was not worth to take. Terrace space is shared with next room. No privacy. And no view. Breakfast area is very beautiful with the nice view. However, breakfast has very limited options and poorly refilled. Hotel accessible only by few flights of stairs and ramp. Sometimes very sleepy after the rain. Not best choice for people with mobility limitations.

Comfortable stay in a convenient location with lovely sea views
Liked: I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Sirius. The location is very convenient, especially when travelling without a car. The bus station is nearby, and restaurants, little shops, and the cable car down to the beach are all within walking distance. The hotel itself is not the newest, but it’s well maintained, with an interesting style and lovely details. My room was quite simple but clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the balcony with its beautiful sea view, a lovely place to sit and relax. The pool area was also very nice and comfortable, perfect for enjoying some time in the sun. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help.
Disliked: The hotel is a little dated, and for a similar price I stayed in more modern hotels in other parts of Sicily. However, considering that Taormina is such a popular tourist destination, the price is understandable.
Liked: Just had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Sirius. All the staff were welcoming and attentive. We really enjoyed the spacious terrace attached to our room. Anna and her colleagues helped us book a transfer to Catania Airport, and kindly arranged an early breakfast for us. We all liked the Sicilian decor of our room and the hotel. At night, as we looked up at the sky from the terrace, we saw stars shining above and the coastline stretching out below. What a spectacular view. We really liked it here. A big thanks to the hotel and its staff.
Worth the price for the views, the hotel, and the location
Liked: There is a beautiful view. The building is very classy and well maintained. The staff was accommodating when we had to leave early and set up a quick breakfast for us. It is close to the local restaurants and other attractions without the noise and hubbub.
Disliked: Nothing
