  Really lovely homely stay thank you Ramona:)

  Liked: The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve stayed in Sicily, like my bed at home ( and that’s saying something. Room felt secure which is good because you share the apartment with guests and they could be anyone. The balcony and view was gorgeous. Nice bathroom ( Mountain View room) host couldn’t do enough for you always reachable. Location 10/10 amazing for the bus terminal. Room was authentic and comfortable. Coffee nice touch but milk should have been offered.

  Disliked: At night just slightly quiet for a solo female traveller, would have liked a tad more lighting on the stairs. Felt safe in the room but balcony lock didn’t feel that safe to me. Would have like more new towels. Kitchen could do with an update ( sorry:) just my taste). I got woke up by other guests both mornings by 7am as you are essentially staying in the same apartment so for that reason I wouldn’t stay again but I did really love it and Ramona is super special.

  Liked: The location was close to the bus station which was important because we travelled without a car. it was also a few minutes to the centre of town which was also important for us. Our host Ramona was very accessible to us through e mail and usually responded instantly to our questions.(Thanks Ramona). We very much enjoyed the views from the balcony, especially in the quiet of the morning hours, enjoying the provided coffee.

  Disliked: Although the description from Ramona made accessing the room easy, the age of the door and locking system required some getting used to. Be aware of the many steps down to the property especially carrying luggage. We were alerted to this by Ramona, so we adapted by being very careful as all four of us are seniors. Also, be aware that the street we were on is a main artery for traffic going down from the townsite to the coast. Throughout the town, pedestrians compete for space with cars, scooters, motorcycles, and busses.

  Liked: Ramona was an incredible host, she went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay. She was even flexible when we accidentally booked the wrong dates! Beautiful room with an incredible view. Perfect location in Taormina, close to the action.
