  Amazing place

  Liked: An absolutely beautiful place in a magical spot. This was one of our favourite accommodations we've stayed at - stunning view, spacious, great location in walking distance to all you need, and a calm away from the crowds. Missing it already! 10/10

  Disappointing all round

  Liked: The view was good The host was very friendly and really thought she had a special property

  Disliked: The shower was non existent, mouldy and in need of Major refurbishment The pool we could not use as it was dirty and green The beds were solid and uncomfortable The level of cleanliness was very suspect The standard of furniture was old and tired Dirty windows, glass tables etc Way too far from town, with no restaurant s within 15 mins up hill Broken toilet, really not acceptable! I think the photos were taken some time ago Other guests food and toiletries left in the property ( free for us!) which I found disgusting! Empty bottles of alcohol ( free to use) why? Most of them were empty The most disgusting was a used washing up sponge! 🤢 not new for every guest! We wanted to leave immediately, however do not trust the refund process Spoilt our trip to Taormina for sure!

  Liked: Loved the balcony with comfortable seating and a stunning view. The host was so responsive with gifts on arrival and met us there to give us information. The pool was superb!

  Disliked: The internet was terrible! The TV very small. We knew this but it was about twenty minutes to town up hill mostly which was a hassle just to get groceries and water. This would not stop me choosing to stay in such a lovely apartment.

  Great home from home apartment 20 mins walk from town centre

  Liked: Great home from home apartment approx 20 minutes walk from the centre of Taomina. Lovely living space, comfortable sofa, well equipped kitchen and huge variety of herbal tea bags! Fabulous balcony and very comfortable bed. Great shower pressure. Good air con. Reassuring when driving a rental car to be able to park off road and so near the apartment. Host was great, superb communication and lots of info. Didn’t have time to use the swimming pool! Little supermarket, excellent gelato and good restaurant all within very easy reach near the arch without having to go into central Taormina.

  Disliked: Driving in Taomina is not for the faint hearted, it’s a pretty narrow and very hilly route to get to the apartment. Parking is charged at €15 per night which feels expensive but very few other options. There is some road noise from the motorway that goes through the central Taormina but you zone it out very quickly.
