  Stunning room/apartment with pool and parking very close the Taormina centre

  Liked: This was a really lovely room/apartment, beautifully appointed and very stylish, overlooking a very nice swimming pool, so you have beautiful views when waking up through the large glass sliding doors over the pool and valley beyond with views to the sea. It was impeccably clean and had everything you might need. The owner Tania, who lives adjacent, met us at the property on our arrival and showed us everything we needed to know. The property whilst being very close to the city is also very quiet and secluded, with locked gate access giving good security for the apartment and pool area etc. Whilst very close to the city, it was actually quite a hike up many steps to get to the centre, as it is a hilltop city. It was though easy to find in our hire car and came with more than adequate parking. A delightful stay, we could have stayed longer.

  Disliked: The only disadvantage is the steep route up the city centre, with a good many steps, but still only a strenuous 10 minute walk.

  The most relaxing, incredible stay in Taormina

  Liked: We had the most incredible stay at Villa del Sole. Tania and her husband were wonderful, kind hosts. Key collection was easy and our room was beautiful and included tea, coffee and pool towels. The highlight of our stay was the incredible view we had from our room. We used the pool and sun chairs every day, and it was overall a very relaxing stay. The location is also perfect, just a short 10 min walk from the cable cars, and a few mins further from the town centre. We were able to walk everywhere during our stay. Thank you so much for having us, we hope to return one day!

  Liked: The house and the views were utterly stunning. The house & garden are spotless. I would suggest a car if you’re not a keen walker. We spent a lot of time out and about in the gorgeous surrounding area.

  Disliked: I would of liked a little in kitchen facilities to the hot plate provided as I’m a keen cook and it would of been nice to buy some of the amazing local produce and have the odd meal back at the villa. But the kitchen itself has a fab fridge freezer and is a spotless space.

  Incredible location! Beautiful design! Views amazing!

  Liked: This property and the views were absolutely gorgeous! I couldn’t imagine a better location — it’s a short walk to city center with all the restaurants and shops. If you don’t feel like making the uphill walk, the parking structure Port Catania is only an 8 minute drive away and that’s another great way to enter the city center. It was walking distance to Iso Bella and the cable car. We loved our stay! The room was comfortable, clean and the design was beautiful. The unit feels private and the neighborhood felt safe. Great hosts too, we definitely recommend!

  Disliked: It was incredible, no complaints! The only thing — they don’t include any shampoo or conditioner in the unit, so you may want to bring your own. The pool also closes at 7pm.

  A wonderful place to stay – felt like home

  Liked: We had an amazing time at this beautiful place. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The view is absolutely breathtaking – we couldn’t get enough of it! The pool is very well maintained and everything is spotless and tidy. The owners are truly lovely people: caring, thoughtful, and always ready to help. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more special. We enjoyed every moment and would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommended!

  Disliked: Everything was perfect, but the uphill walk to the village can be a bit challenging for some. It might be an idea to rent a scooter nearby.

  Liked: ‏My daughter and I stayed in Taormina at a truly magical accommodation! ‏From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by breathtaking views of lush greenery, stunning beaches, and scenery that looks like it came straight out of a postcard. ‏Right from the start, we received warm, helpful guidance from the host, Tania. Upon our arrival, Tania and her husband welcomed us with genuine kindness, professionalism, and heartfelt warmth, which instantly made us feel at home and safe. ‏Our room was very spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and every single detail in the décor was thoughtfully chosen and of the highest quality – from the furniture to the smallest decorative touches. ‏The pool was absolutely amazing – clean, well-kept, and the perfect addition to the overall sense of peace the place offers. ‏The location of the accommodation is ideal – it provides tranquility and a sense of escape from the hustle and bustle, yet it is only a short distance from the center of Taormina. ‏Tania and her husband were exceptionally kind and welcoming. They took the time to explain every detail, gave us excellent recommendations on where to go, and even advised us on what places are less worth visiting. ‏Every day, our room was cleaned thoroughly. The room was also equipped with a stove, refrigerator, and all the necessary kitchen utensils, which made us feel completely at home. Our private terrace was the highlight – offering a breathtaking view that felt like a dream. ‏I wholeheartedly recommend this place! ‏I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Tania and her husband for such a perfect stay – they made us feel safe, happy, and truly cared for from our very first day in Taormina. ‏We will definitely come back here again!
