  A stunning villa undaunted by the natural beauty of Taormina

  Liked: We had a splendid welcome. The view of Etna and the bay were stunning and unsurpassable. The room was clean and very comfortable and it was a privilege to share the family antiques. Domenico was a caring host whose advice, care and cooking were equally good. We enjoyed Taormina and Castel Mola walks.

  Disliked: Not a problem for us but one needs to be fit to enjoy Taormina as to quod Domenico distances are counted in steps if ascent not kilometres!

  Villa Sara was extremely comfortable, in a great location with unbeatable views

  Liked: The view, the view and the view of magnificent Mt Etna. We had a fabulous spacious verandah from where we looked down over beautiful Taormina, the vast sea and up at stunning Mt Etna, in all her moods. We soon learned that cocktails and dinner on our verandah was the best restaurant in town. Domenico was a delightful host, so friendly and always available. He gave us so much great advice on how to make the most of our time there. He cooked delicious breakfasts for us each morning. Having on-site parking was a huge bonus.

  Disliked: The shower needs a plumber.

  Excellent plus!

  Liked: Views were magnificent. The huge terrace off the bedroom with views of Mt Etna and the sea were spectacular. The host went above and beyond any expectation we could ever have. His generosity and kindness will always be remembered

  Beautiful stay and views

  Liked: This property is on the hilltop with beautiful views to Mt Etna. You can walk to the town but be mindful of all the steps you will need to climb to get back to the property. Buses only run every hour. This property offers secure parking which was important for us as we had a rental car. Domenico is a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough for you.
