Exceptional
Excellent base to explore Taranto
Liked: That's a special landmark of Taranto with a lot of history behind in the area of hospitality. The view is spectacular. You'll enjoy the sea, the lake, the canal in between, the rotating bridge (rarely in action) and the castle where every morning and evening you'll enjoy hearing, and probably also seeing, the flag hoisting and lowering ceremony. You'll may even find one of the few free car parking spots in front of the hotel entrance.
Disliked: When it's windy outside you'll know it for sure. Either close the shades and remain without natural light or block the shades in open position and let them tremble. Also the room partitioning after renovation could leave the lower floor as a living room and install a sofa instead of the third bed. It's totally uninspired to get an extra bed when you don't need it at the expense of space. No, there are no ghosts haunting the hotel, just the the TV set from the lower/upper floor switched on by the remote control when you are at a different level.
A truly wonderful hotel experience, treated very well
Liked: Beautiful view of water, great staff, and wonderful and filling breakfast. AC worked to heat and cool room to our expectations. Great value for such a fine hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the Taranto neighborhoods.
Disliked: Cannot think of anything. Perhaps to arrange for the best rate taxi from terminal?

Liked: It was really a very nice experience. Finally a hotel where you feel welcomed, where services are available, staff is kind and nice, facilities are well maintained and clean. Will definitely be back!!!
