Fabulous
Lovely clean apartment with nice breakfast and good location
Liked: Liked the location and having breakfast in the cafe below.
Disliked: For us the bed sofa in the living area we didn’t like due to noise from neighbours. Every night there was loud voices behind the appt door in the open space that kept family awake.
A cosy hideaway in a beautiful town
Liked: A third floor apartment overlooking a tiny square in the old part of town, quiet, cosy and picturesque. The facilities were functional, just enough cutlery and crockery for two people and the space was also adequate. The apartment looked to have just been fitted out, everything felt brand new. Breakfast was available at the pasticceria in the little square which the apartment overlooked. There was a good variety of excellent pastries or a toasted cheese and ham sandwich as a savoury alternative. Coffee and orange juice also available. The cafe served as the apartment's reception desk where the keys were to be picked up and check-in took place. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was a lift for easy access to our floor. The city centre was just around the corner but you would never realise it as the little square was such a peaceful haven, a genuine hideaway.
Disliked: A corkscrew in the sparse cutlery drawer would have been useful. The place was difficult to find, it is really tucked away. The address on the booking confirmation was not the actual location of the apartment; even the taxi driver didn't recognise it. The accompanying map and directions need to be made clearer.
Amazing stay in the centre of Treviso (with sm tiramisu)
Liked: The flat is super clean and seems renowated, the kitchen is great and I loved the washing machine. The localisation was amazing and since we didn’t have a car we wanted to be close to the train and bus station and this was amazing (just a 10min walk). The breakfast was in a downstairs caffe and they gave us three options 1- tiramisu 2-croissants or 3-pizza or toast. Each one of them had a coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. As for the rooms they were spacious and had amazing AC and automatic blinds so the sun wasn’t waking us up.
Disliked: As much as I loved everything about this place (the quality, price, location) I wish the contact with the owner was better because frankly it was nonexistent. I tried calling or texting a couple of times and was met with ZERO response each time. I just wanted to ask out check-out and ask for some more toilet paper (3 rolls for 3 ppl for 5 days wasnt enough) but it failed. Ultimately it was my only problem and I recommend this place wholeheartedly.
Treviso is a beautiful town and we will go back someday, but not stay at this place again
Liked: Breakfast and location were great. The people who worked at the cafe were super busy with local customers and other people who were renting rooms. It was nice to sit and sip coffee and eat a croissant and really be part of a very local scene.
Disliked: We rented the room for one night on our way to Venice because it had a washer. When we went to do our laundry we discovered that the washer was not plugged in and that the outlet closest to the washer was not the right type of electrical outlet for a washer. We texted the owner and they said to use the outlet in the bathroom. This would encompass disconnecting the washer from a drain outlet and water source and moving it down through the small entry hall into the bathroom. Really! Why are we supposed to move a water and drain line around to plug in a washer? We ended up searching for a coin laundry facility the next morning in the old town and found out that we would have to travel out of the city walls to our laundry. We wasted a whole morning to finally find a coin washer facility and do our laundry. I wrote the owner and complained that they needed to fix the outlet next to the washer for the next guest so that they could do their laundry and not encounter this same issue with the washer we did. I also asked for our money back which the owner found "completely unreasonable, excessive and frankly outrageous". The easiest fix would have been for them to arrive with a proper extension cord, but what I got was a text telling me to move the washer down a hall into the bathroom to use it.
