  Liked: A beautiful Austro-Hungarian style building turned into a great hostel with lovely vintage details and great location close to the train station. I often stay here when coming from Monfalcone—it's only a 20-minute train ride and no brainer choice when you just need a clean bed and a shower. Super polite staff at reception and the bar. Great economy accommodation if you have realistic expectations

  Disliked: The wall-mounted shower heads in the shared bathroom are clogged with limescale and spray water a bit unpredictably, making it hard to avoid getting everything wet. A clean plastic shelf would also be a handy addition for putting down clean clothes. However, considering the price it's not a big deal.

  Acceptable just for one night

  Liked: The location is good, as it is close to the train station, and there's a nice bar which it is open all day, and you can order coffee, snacks.

  Disliked: It's not comfortably compared with other hostels in Italy. The bathrooms and the showers are outside the room and a bit far away. The rooms have no blinds, so in the morning it's a bit annoying. Last, the kitchen was very dirty. I understand the this point regards also the guests, but there was no maintenance, nor in the evening or in the morning. For one night it's acceptable, but not more.

  Liked: Great service and the breakfast was good value.

  Disliked: I feel bad to give a review based on the people in my dorm because the hostel itself was great.. but this was the worst night ive ever had in a hostel. Perhaps having basic/common sense rules in the dorms of how to behave when sharing a room with others would be helpful.

  Great hostel in trieste

  Liked: Good location. Shared areas were clean. Luggage storage without any additional. Friendly staff at front desk.
