The hotel is a real jewel of Triest, best place to stay in summer or in winter!

Liked: The hotel is a perfect mix of high quality tradition and modern freshness, very attentive staff, great breakfast and amazing view from the roof top restaurant! There is also a large indoor swimming pool and a very elegant wellness center. Highly recommended!

Broken trust is hard to build back. Read the reviews before you book

Disliked: Please do not call ppl from a 5 star hotel, if we want to convert our booking to a "private"

Nice, classical hotel with beautiful sea views, but some shortcomings

Liked: At first, I was a little sceptical because of the mixed reviews. Now I can say that both sides are right!:-) The positives: A lovely, clean room with a wonderful sea view. The breakfast buffet was excellent especially by Italian standards. Having breakfast on the 4th-floor terrace overlooking the sea was simply fantastic (and yes, even in mid-October it was still very pleasant). The staff were very dedicated and helpful. One highlight was the free e-bike rental, which turned out to be the perfect solution because the road into the city was closed due to a running event.

Disliked: The criticism is also justified. In particular, the entrance area feels a little uninspired, and the reception desk itself is a little messy. That is a pity because it spoils the first impression. And it is certainly not a 5-star hotel. The critics are right about that – I would rate it 3 to 4 stars at most. It is also true that the rooms are not particularly soundproof and that you can hear traffic from the sea-facing rooms. However, it's not a big issue, and it is relatively quiet at night. Overall, I would give it a solid 7–8 out of 10 on Booking.com.

    Nice hotel, but overpriced

Liked: The breakfast buffet was excellent and the outdoor patio in the restaurant offered an amazing view of the Adriatic. The location of the hotel was also perfect for visiting downtown Trieste, either by car or bus.

Disliked: This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, more like 3 1/2 or 4 star. The rooms are small and rather worn in spots. Not great value for the money. And don't eat the small package of peanuts in the room, or you will be charged 4 Euros!!

Disliked: Safe for valuables would be a good addition to room
