  Liked: Super location near the train and bus station. Within walking distance of the city centre and port. Excellent and friendly staff. Snacks, coffee and tea and on tap water in the foyer. Super recycling facilities.

  Disliked: This is not a modern hotel! But the Barcolana Regatta was on while we were in Trieste and availability was limited.

  When we arrived at the hotel we connected very quickly with the young Spanish guy at the desk,I can’t remember his name

  Liked: Parked my car at the front door

  Disliked: The staff at breakfast could have been a bit friendlier but they were polite, the big guy there was always ready to help

  Liked: Good location, near to the pedestrian zone, but with a plenty options for parking. Basic but comfortable and spacious room. Clean and spacious bathroom.

  Trieste is a lovely city -- Hotel Italia enhanced our positive experience

  Liked: The Hotel is close to the Trieste Train Station but there was no noise disturbance at all. The breakfast was very good, with a wide choice of food, some items being changed each day. The room was spacious and very clean. From the hotel we could easily access the Canal Grande, Piazza dell' Unita' d'Italia, Cavana district, etc. The staff were super helpful. Bus transport in Trieste is good. We really enjoyed staying in Trieste, and the hotel was an excellent choice, making our stay very pleasant.

  Excellent place to stay to see Trieste by foot. Buses and train were very close too

  Liked: It was walking distance of both the train station and the old part. Excellent for seeing everything

  Disliked: Our room seemed to be very warm most of the time. Did mention it to reception.
