  Simply the poorest hotel we have stayed at over 40 years of travel. Expensive. My birthday treat was something to try an

  Liked: The room was big albeit grey and depressing. We paid for an executive room which was large but horrible. Grey single chair and a prison cell vibe all round. Tv did not work.

  Disliked: Inattentive emotionless staff. No seating in reception. Requests were met with indifference. Bed made up of two singles not linked. Shower many years past prime. No plug in sink. Sink tap sprayed everywhere when on. Tiny thin towels. Awful products.

  Well located quality hotel

  Liked: Location near Porta Susa station ideal. And on a smart street. Excellent greeting, no fuss check in, clean room and well -appointed bathroom. Great shower and comfortable bed. Quiet, from inside and outside. Tasteful decor and carefully designed lighting. Range of soft towels Expresso machine and kettle for tea.. Small (chargeable) mini-bar. Didn't try TV but looked fine.

  Disliked: Couldn't get Aircon to work: could hear fan but no cold air when temp set appropriately.

  I won’t stay here again as the overall feel was negative

  Liked: Bed was comfy and location

  Disliked: Breakfast- the cheese platter was so old it was stuck to the serving plate no matter how hard I tried. Not sure what the sausages were made of but the taste was so bad l almost threw up and decided to abandon breakfast completely which is not like me. Scrambled eggs were powered
