  Tired rooms and restaurant

  Liked: Convenient location. This was a last minute booking as our original hotel cancelled hours before.

  Disliked: Where to start. In a rough neighborhood and although they told us to park in the underground car park as it was "safer", there was no security on it and most the cars were abandoned and covered in thick dust, clearly been there a long time. Also looked like someone was living in the corner of the car park. The room was tired and worn and toilet was crammed in the corner under the sink, was an odd placement! Breakfast was very basic and the restaurant was also very tired. Flooring was coming up, ants nest inside near the door. Doesn't look anywhere as nice as the photos.

  Master... Master

  Liked: Staff is friendly, super helpful and the beds were comfortable. They seem to have things under video surveillance which is a plus in my book. Room had a pretty decent size as well.

  Disliked: There was a smell in the room like someone had been smoking there, which wasn't really pleasant to begin with. Then someone in another room was running or something (kids probably) which was audible and made sleeping more difficult. Parking outside apparently isn't safe so it's recommended to leave the car underground, which looks like someone lives there or something....

  Comfortable bed and good breakfast, but let down by shocking staff rudeness and forced fees

  Liked: The room was spacious, and both the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The air conditioning was excellent and worked perfectly throughout our stay. The breakfast was also very good with a nice selection.

  Disliked: Unacceptable Staff Rudeness: On our final day, we approached the front desk to ask if a one-hour late checkout would be possible. Instead of stopping to listen, the receptionist completely ignored basic etiquette—she kept walking around doing other tasks while I was forced to follow her around like a fool just to get an answer. Without even stopping for a second or asking for my room number, she abruptly said "no" because another guest was checking in. Her dismissive attitude and total lack of customer service were completely unacceptable. She clearly just wanted to get rid of me as quickly as possible. A receptionist should never treat a guest this way. Hidden/Forced Fees: Upon arrival, we were told we needed to pay a city tax of €2.80 per person, per night, which matched our booking details perfectly. However, after we paid, the staff claimed they made a mistake and that the rate was actually €3.50 per night, essentially forcing us to pay the difference. This higher rate was nowhere to be found on our booking confirmation. I paid it simply because the difference was under €10, but the lack of transparency and the way it was handled felt incredibly unprofessional and dishonest. The Shower: The shower cabin is incredibly small. It was almost impossible to wash my hair without constantly hitting my elbows against the glass.
