  Good place to stay in south Portugal

  Liked: Good place to stay in Albufeira. Hotel needs some upgrades, but overall, it was ok. Great breakfast and views. Short walk to the beach.

  Disliked: Hotel is somewhat dated and need some upgrades. Would be nice to have reserved lounge chairs at the beach.

  The hotel is clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful

  Liked: The breakfast was excellent. A huge variety of breakfast options.

  Disliked: There wasn't much natural light coming into the room.

  If I knew how gorgeous this place was, I would have booked a longer stay

  Liked: The buffet in the hotel was tremendous. The Basilica restaurant was dreamy. The outdoor pool was gorgeous. I didn't try the indoor pool. The beach was beyond comparison as it was gorgeous. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

  We came for a friends wedding and the hotel was a perfect location, would return

  Liked: breakfast choice was excellent. Room a bit outdated but it is just about to be refurbed so should then be very good. Pool area was lovely and the beach below fabulous.

  Disliked: Should be a couple of drinking water stations around hotel and water in rooms.
