  Excellent

  Liked: We were warmly welcomed by the owner, Mr. Antonio, who personally showed us to the apartment and took the time to explain how everything worked. On first arrival, I'll be completely honest—I was a little disappointed, as the apartment initially felt somewhat dated. However, after Mr. Antonio gave us a tour and we had time to settle in, my perspective quickly changed. The traditional style and décor gradually grew on me, and I came to appreciate its charm. In fact, what I first saw as dated became one of the apartment's greatest strengths, giving it a unique and authentic character. The kitchen area is compact, but it was perfectly functional for our needs. We cooked dinner there on three occasions and enjoyed watching the sunset while we ate. We also had lunch there most days. The apartment itself is exceptionally clean. Having two bathrooms was a real bonus, and the shower over the bath in the main bathroom was excellent. The bedroom is spacious, with plenty of storage, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—perfect for a good night's sleep. The air-conditioning was excellent with a great quiet function. **Now for the best part: Location, Location, Location!** The apartment boasts fantastic views over the beach, boardwalk, and part of the town. It's literally a two-minute walk to the beach, where two sunbeds and an umbrella cost just €17. The pool area is around a five-minute walk from the apartment and is located near the 3 Palmeiras Snack Bar, which is definitely worth visiting once—or even several times! I found the pool area excellent, with a huge number of free sunbeds and umbrellas available. Cushions for the sunbeds can also be hired for just €3 per day. Would I stay in this apartment again? Absolutely. Would I recommend it? Without hesitation. Thank you, Mr. Antonio, for a wonderful stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return in the future.

  Highly recommended, beach a stones throw away

  Liked: Absolutely delighted we choose this property for our week in Alvor. We arrived five hours late but communicating with Antonio was super easy and he was waiting for us with a key and to show us around. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, quiet and with a very comfortable bed. All mod cons, large balcony and easy parking. The location is exceptional, a two minute walk to the beach and less than ten minutes to the nearest bars, restaurants, supermarket etc. Alvor itself is a lovely area and has some super restaurants. We will likely be back and would definitely stay here again.

  Disliked: Honestly nothing we didn't like.

  Great locaton!

  Liked: The location was excellent. Loved the beach and walk way.The apartment was clean and well equipped. It was like a home from home.

  We enjoyed our stay and the apartment had everything we needed

  Liked: Beds comfy, quiet location, owner very helpful

  Disliked: Although shower over bath was powerful and functional could do with an update. Lock on front door entrance to building difficult to open - needs maintenance.

  Excellent stay at clean and comfortable apartment in great location

  Liked: Greeting by owner, Antonio, when he met us at the property, was so warm, friendly and helpful. He and his wife were also so attentive, making sure everything was fine. Apartment was so clean and in an ideal location close to boardwalk into Alvor centre.

  Disliked: Nothing at all not to like.

  Don’t be put off by the outside the apartment was lovely

  Liked: It was very clean and had everything we needed. Nice balcony with a lovely view. Only 4 minutes walk to the beach and near to the town

  Disliked: The building looks pretty awful when you arrive and we were a little worried about what the apartment would be like but luckily it was good
