Exceptional
Liked: Lovely spacious apartment in a great location. Good appliances, comfortable bed, comfortable sofa and nice view from balcony. Joana (host) was also fantastic. Good communication, friendly and very accommodating.
Disliked: Nothing we didn't like.
Liked: The apartment is great, as described in the photos. 15 minutes walk to the Irmaos beach and 15 minutes walk to the Old Town, where you can find bars & restaurants. Spacious, confortable with a very well equiped kitchen.
Disliked: The bathroom needs some mending at the shower and some new towels.
Wonderful Alvor stay in spacious apartment
Liked: The unit was large and spacious with a distant water view. We were allowed early check-in. 👍🏼 There are two supermarkets nearby- a large Intermarche four minute walk. The check-in as very clear and easy. Coffee was provided. Walking to town/historic area with shops and waterfront takes about ten minutes, easy walk. Great communication with owner. Clean.
Disliked: Not exactly right in town, but if you can walk, it takes no time at all. A couple laundry pods provided would be nice.
We had a lovely week on the apartment in Alvor
Liked: It was very clean, had all the facilities you’d need. The bed was very comfortable and had an excellent shower
Disliked: The apartment was a bit further from the beach than we thought, although that was probably our mistake and we did have a car
Clean, bright, well equipped, apartment with a balcony view of the sea
Liked: A bright, clean and modern apartment with a balcony located within easy walking distance of a large supermarket. The apartment had all the key things that we needed. The walk back from town was up quite a steep hill but that did us both good! If I stay again I may make more use of the local bus into Alvor if carrying a lot of stuff to the beach for the day. Main thing is you don’t need a car to stay here.
Disliked: Nothing really. The sofa bed was comfortable as the host provided an optional mattress to put on top. Perfect if you’re middle aged! If there had a been a room safe that would have been great, but I can see that adds extra risk of someone having to be on standby if there’s an issue.
