  Liked: Cleanliness of apartment block and area. Choice of food and drinks. Pool.

  Liked: Location - great location close to town and beach great amenities on site with bars, restaurants and pool. Size - great size apartment, just needs upgrading to provide comfort.

  Disliked: Beds - mattresses were extremely hard and were almost unbearable. Shower - the shower head needs replacing as it pours water out as opposed to spraying it. Also the water went cold after 2 people showered. Couches - these were functional but lacked comfort.

  Disliked: 2 April Waited 1 hour for rep to arrive with key - despite prior notification of arrival time. Large leak in bedroom ceiling which continued to leak during my stay. Bedroom door would not close, 2 sets of patio doors would not close, no fire extinguisher, fire blanket holder broken, no fire blanket, beds lumpy and uncomfortable. overwhelming sewer like stench from kitchen sink 2 April at 11pm - electric failure - no heat, light or power - strong gusts of wind all night - very cold, door banging. 3 April am - informed Patricia, the rep, of electric outage. She requested that I stay in apartment to allow technician entry. He arrived at 2.30pm, repaired socket and restored electricity but fault with fuse board would need to be fixed by an electrician who would come at 6pm. Instructed me that I could use only one appliance at any given time, so impossible to cook a meal. Technician got patio doors to close but not lock and bedroom door to close. 7 April - discovered washing machine broken, clothes airer rusty and sole plate on iron caked with dirt. 13 April - message from Patricia that leak in ceiling 'is due to a structural issue relating to the building itself; it falls under the condominium's responsibilty and is beyond our direct control.' In summary: the apartment was not ready or safe for occupation. It was falsely advertised as 'superb' with a score of 9 based on 1 review. I would like the advice of Booking.Com on gaining due compensation from the owner, Mycelia.
