  Liked: It felt like living with a Portuguese family—a truly relaxed, homey atmosphere. The host was very kind. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. We felt right at home. The location is just a few minutes from the center. I recommend it.

  Clean place in a village, but very uncomfortable beds

  Liked: Location is good, because it was at a walkable distance from Batalha Monastery. Pool is nice and clean. The premises are overall nice, clean and peaceful. The hosts are friendly. A lot of parking space.

  Disliked: Beds are extremely uncomfortable: short for people above 5ft7in (170 cm), very hard mattress and one had a bump in the middle, so we were constantly sliding to the edges of the bed during the night. It’s very dark in the room in the nighttime, so it’s difficult to understand in what direction to walk if you need to go to the bathroom. I think it’s also can be scary for the small kids or who has issues with the darkness. Kitchen also doesn’t have enough of the bright light, so I couldn’t see how clean the dishes, cups and utensils were and had a feeling that we were sitting in the cave.

  Liked: Family room was comfortable for two adults and two small children for our one-night stay. Bathroom was lovely and very spacious. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
