Exceptional
Great location and pool. But aware of the showers
Liked: Great location and pool area.
Disliked: The showers. Definitely need updating. We coped okay, but if you are older they are difficult to get in and out of. They are Roman style baths so like getting into a sunken bath without handles, not the easiest after a hip replacement.

Liked: The warm pool, the location and the facilities.
Disliked: Would have liked a small basic welcome pack. (Dishwasher tablets, tea,coffee,milk etc)

Liked: Spotlessly clean and an amazing location! No parking problems for Carvalho beach!! Great communication from the property management team at Kalkbrenner.

Liked: The pool was amazing and well looked after. The bedrooms were big. And the beach is just a few minutes away (walk for less than 5 minutes) and it is such a great beach. Definitely recommend it
Disliked: It would be nice to know when the cleaners/maintenance staff would come over; having a “slot”/rough idea (no need to be that accurate & precise) would be great

Very good
Liked: Location of Villa is good but adjacent to a busy beach parking lot. In the villa/casa development there is an excellent restaurant "Bella Vita" that we ate at three times. It is first class and the chef is from Positano. The living room and kitchen of Casa Igreja are well appointed and super comfortable. There are large closets in bedrooms. Only 3 bedrooms are available for guests, two of which are smaller and dark. So better lighting would be a great improvement in these two bedrooms. The pool and patio are great! Lease agent supplied excellent information on the Casa and neighboring sights. The walk along the ridge overlooking the sea is magnificent!
Disliked: These are the things that could be improved: We had difficulty with the front door lock and key. The grass is dead and the potted plants had not been cared for. We were there during extreme heat and perhaps water was being carefully monitored? The bathroom in the primary bedroom is challenging as you must climb down carefully into the shower. The shower is very large.
