Good
OK if you decide to stay for 1-2 nights. Not so good for longer period of time 'cause of bedbugs
Liked: We were offered an upgrade from the room we had originally booked, which turned out to have two bunk beds, something we were not aware of when making the reservation. For a small additional fee, we were able to move to a standard room, which made our stay much more comfortable. The property features a lovely swimming pool and beautiful trees, creating a relaxing atmosphere for outdoor meals or enjoying a cup of coffee. The staff were very kind and attentive to both us and our children. They provided a swimming board for our older son and a playmat for our baby, which we greatly appreciated.
Disliked: Hygine - My entire family ended up covered in bedbug bites. We thought they were mosquito bites until the last day of our trip, when we started packing and discovered bedbugs in the bedsheets (bedhseet photo added).
Perfect accommodation for beach&surf trips
Liked: Since we came to surf, the location of the house was perfect, really close to the beach. The staff were nice and the vibe was just amazing. The bus stop was also near to the house, which was an extra benefit.
Absolute con!
Liked: We made the most of it! The pool, and taking e-scooters to town.
Disliked: We should have been given the suite we booked which had a lounge, seperate living area and 1 bedroom. Instead we got a room with an ensuite with the water heater in it which went off every 20 seconds for the first night. There were sheets missing from the bed, the bathroom door didn't shut, the children slept on matresses on the floor not the beds in the picture of the suite we booked! The suite we booked existed but was occupied by others the whole time we were there. The surf equipment was broken and the board that had fins had so much old wax on it rubbed so much my son could only use it for 20 mins. No wetsuits in water that needs them all year round! No local shops and no supplies provided so arriving late at night with neuro diverse teeneagers very stressfull not even a bottle of water provided. I wrote to the hosts and spoke to the staff numerous times and never got a response. I also got booking.com involved but they had no luck either.
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The staff were incredibly rude and didn't show up to give us our keys and the bathroom was absolutely filthy and unsanitary and sometimes a large dog would come into the bathroom and just stay there. It didn't meet our expectations and looks nothing like the pictures.
Liked: Location and welcomy place
Disliked: The kiitchen induction top is cracked literally, no WiFi, no lights working outside apart from the outside shower and bbq area, no sockets in the double room
Look for another place!
Liked: We came her about 10 years ago and it was a great experience. Feels like the owners have lat it go down the toilet since then
Disliked: The room we stayed in was right next to an overflowing septic tank, which smelled pretty bad and was a thriving nest for mosquitoes-literally scores of them in our room. There was water in the swimming.. but it was green. All in all, the place had gone downhill since we last visited 10 years ago.
