Exceptional
Very disappointing
Liked: The grounds are lovely, buildings quaint, peaceful area. Natural pond with frogs is cute Benjamin quick to respond
Disliked: Doors dont lock, 3 of us got locked within a room and had to climb out a second storey window to get help. BBQ area was filthy and unusable. Leaking toilet with broken lid Needed a thorough clean as very dusty and old.
2 Bedroom is disappointing
Liked: The location was beautiful. And in a quiet area. The communication was also good. The place is cute. Bathrooms are nice.
Disliked: It was nothing like on the photo's. There was no outdoor sitting, no floor rugs, no cupboard that would have made it more looking like home, no cutlery in the 'kitchenette', only 1 cup and 2 tiny coffee cups. We had no hot water. There was only 1 cup and 2 small ones. No cutlery nothing. There was no fridge (which I might have missed in the desciption). It was like staying in a youth hostel but with the price of a hotel.
Liked: Big property with a lot of trees, scattered amongst them are individual houses, all a bit different from each other. The big communal area was great. The pool is a special delight: nature-oriented with some water area for humans and some for frogs! The owner was on site and always helpful.
Disliked: Something that the owner cannot do much about: it is not far from the airport and one can hear planes. Of course, this also means it is easy to reach, so one sort of has to accept that part of the deal. But planes seemed to have a curfew and didn't land at ungodly hours.
Liked: A great place for a vacation. Close to the ocean and Lisbon. A natural swimming pool nestled among the trees, a ping-pong table, a barbecue, and plenty of common space. A large wooded area allows you to truly unwind and relax.
