Awful
Liked: The house is quite spacious.
Disliked: I have never been in such a cold house in my life -- this house can not retain heat at all. Not every sleeping room has AC. The bed clothing provided was not nearly enough. Two heaters were provided, one of them pretty much useless in such a cold house (1500W) and the other one was broken. There is a fireplace that we wanted to use but the host did not allow us. During the day, we were literally hanging out in the living room and walking through the house using our bed clothing as blankets... We were a group of 9, and two of us got badly sick. I am sure this house is great in the Summer, but this is not the house you rent for new year's -- it was an awful experience.
Liked: Location close to beach, bars and restaurants. The house was very comfortable and very spacious and well equipped.
Disliked: First impressions were poor. Streets badly kept and seemed run down. The house too needs some care, paint and maintenance outside and some also inside. Basement was damp and part of bannister on stair was missing with upright being a safety hazard. However on balance a nice house. Finally, the pool table advertised had been removed
We had a fantastic week, spent time in both Caparica and Lisbon and enjoyed a lovely family holiday
Liked: The location was great, very close to the beach, bars and restaurants. Easy access to the beach within a couple of minutes via the secure back gate. Lots of space for our extended family group for both time together and to separate in the generous accommodation.
Disliked: We liked it all - fine for our family but wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility issues and we had to create some barriers on the stairs to keep small children safe.
Amazing Villa
Liked: We were a group of girls travelling for a friend's trip. The Villa was perfect. We had loads of room, our own beds and bathrooms, and loads of space. The private pool was also great and got the sun all day. Everything was comfortable and clean. The Villa and the street also felt safe. The back door opened out onto the beach, with loads of restaurants and beach bars. The communication with the host was also excellent. We had a few questions during our stay, and they always answered us straight away, and we're very helpful. 100% would recommend.
Big old house
Liked: Near the beach and facilities but quiet. Pool was ok
Disliked: Old house and there was some mould or something that made me bit allergic
Not ok for millionaire families to experience this water HOT shower problem, toilet door keys etc

Disliked: The house hot water system is not ideal one. I too have such large villa n hot water runs well. In this house, it doesn’t come smoothly. It’s hot then cold n then hot. If 2 people shower then u will have to keep waiting hot water for longer. They should update swim pool to be cold. & Portugal water is cold. We did have quite some inconvenience due to this water matter and expect 10% claim on money. since we had lots of devices, also the electricity was tripping a lot. Initially There were no keys for bathrooms and bedrooms, later we asked them and big problem was even with keys, the doors to most bathrooms will not close due to some issues with doors and its fittings. Not ok for expensive cars to be taken there. Garage is not available.
