Exceptional
Most wonderful place to stay, incredibly friendly hosts
Liked: The hosts were the most friendliest helpful people we have ever experienced through all our travel experiences. We had an engine problem with our car and couldn’t move on.Our host spent nearly 2 days with us seeking for workshops to get the car repaired which did not work out at the end, but without our host, we could not have moved on. He made calls, translated for us and drove us around. In addition to this we would like to mention the beautiful garden. With this accommodation you do not need to go anywhere else the garden is like a paradise, huge in size including a football pitch. Each corner is inviting you to rest and relax. How lucky we were to find this place!!!!!

Liked: Todo fantástico. Muy amables y siempre atentos. Siempre disponibles. Y siempre dispuestos a dar lo mejor. Los desayunos eran un auténtico lujo. La Calidad de la verdura y la fruta espectacular. Y los croissants sensacionales.
Disliked: Al principio nos abrumó tanta cercanía y amabilidad. Supongo que el carácter portugués es más así que nosotras granadinas. Pero luego la verdad que se agradece.

Liked: The house and grounds were fantastic. The owners were warm and welcoming.
Disliked: Just be aware to use mosquito repellent as there are no window screens to stop them from using you as a snack.
Home away from home in a piece of paradise
Liked: Our family of four stayed in a back bungalow/casita with a great covered patio that was perfect for outdoor dining. The grounds are verdant and very well-cared for. There’s even a futbol field! St Augustine grass was all throughout the grounds, including around the pool. There are also chickens, roosters, geese, and swans oh my! enclosed on the property. Wonderful to wake up to the crowing roosters! The AC worked great. The host had a generous supply of espresso pods available and this is the first vacation rental that had a nonstick pan that wasn’t scratched up. There is a very large supermarket nearby, too. The hosts were extremely welcoming, accommodating, responsive, and concerned with your comfort. When they said they wanted us to feel at home, they really meant it.
Disliked: Not at all the fault of the property, but mosquitoes were a bummer. We’ve never seen screened windows anywhere in Portugal or Northern Spain, but they would be nice for days like these.

Liked: Casa de Cuco is fantastic place to stay near ESPOSENDE, just 5 km away from the Camino way. The facilities in the house and in the apartment are very nice,cozy and stylish you can feel at home away from home. The hosts are very kind and they welcomed us with tea and coffee after the long day. In the morning we were offered a breakfast and coffe and the host give us a drop to Esposende to continue our Camino. I will always remember their hospitality and kindness.
