  Liked: The location was close to beach, 2 minutes of walking. The house is brand new and everithing was clean. Cofee was free, from the house. The hosts were very carefull and helpfull, allways around. I loved it. I was using it for IronMan Cascais, 25 min walking to Cascais, or 8 min by bike, or 5 min by train. Everithing was close.

  Okay for one night, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a relaxing holiday of several days, especially considering the price

  Liked: Pros: The room and the area itself was generally tidy, and some of the furniture seemed quite new, although it was mixed with older pieces. It was also nice to have coffee and tea available in the common area downstairs.

  Disliked: Cons: If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing stay, I would not recommend this accommodation. The property is located directly on a very busy road, with railway tracks immediately behind the building, so there is quite a lot of noise. The room was also quite small, and overall I did not feel that there was much privacy. There are several cameras around the property, presumably for security reasons, and the person responsible for maintaining or looking after the property also seemed to be walking around frequently. If privacy is important to you, I would not recommend staying here. I also found the check-in process rather unusual. Nobody was there to welcome me, and I was guided remotely in order to enter the property and access my room. I noticed another guest having similar difficulties, and I ended up helping them figure out how to get into the guesthouse. I find it strange that guests have to help other guests because there is no one on site to assist with the check-in process. When I reported that there were ants in my room, the general response was that I should not keep any food in the room. I found this quite strange, as it felt as though the responsibility was being placed on me simply for having a pizza in my room, which I think is perfectly normal for a guest. Unfortunately, because of the ants, I could no longer eat the pizza and had to throw it away. I was particularly disappointed that I was not offered any compensation or alternative solution. It was frustrating to have to throw away a €15 pizza due to an issue with the room and then receive no real solution from the accommodation. The room was too small for my liking and there was also no refrigerator. Overall, I did not find my stay particularly relaxing because of the noise, the limited space, and the lack of privacy. More generally, I personally did not find Estoril to be the most appealing holiday destination.
