  Good location but wouldn’t return or recommend the apartment

  Liked: Good location

  Disliked: The second bedroom had a roll down shutter door - not at all suitable for couples or a family. Very hot - no air conditioning - but not enough fans to compensate for this. Two for the whole apartment. Cheap furniture with metal sticking out of the main double bed.

  Liked: Great and large apartment in a great location. The apartment is well maintained and comfortable.

  Disliked: It is an old building and there were at least two apartments under renovation. There was loud construction work around us from 9am on weekdays. This is obviously not a critic of the host, but an important fact for this stay.

  Nice apartment in great location but no air conditioning

  Liked: It was a large spacious apartment with plenty of light in a good location within walking distance to the beach, several restaurants and supermarkets. The kitchen was a reasonable size, the bedrooms were comfortable and the electric shutters on the windows and between the living room and second bedroom were a good idea. The huge balcony (more like a terrace) was nice to sit out in. As we were there two weeks the cleaners came mid-stay without charge (whilst we were out) and did a good job(towels and sheets changed, thorough cleaning, etc).

  Disliked: Several gripes:lack of power points especially in the kitchen. The under bed drawers in the main bedroom had protruding handles so easy to scratch your leg. The dated door handles (a bit difficult to turn) and the old fashioned Yale lock should be changed-the bathroom door handle came loose whilst we were there but it was repaired quickly. The biggest gripe was the lack of air conditioning. I feel that a holiday apartment in a hot country like Portugal should have air conditioning as standard. We paid a fairly premium price but it just lacked that quality feel.

  Great location and great sun terrace

  Liked: Great location, easy walking distance to food and drinks. The apartment has everything you need and a fantastic sun terrace. Very clean and modern.
