  Charming hotel in a perfect location!

  Liked: The chalet is a charming historic home surrounded by gardens and a lovely pool. It is well curated and maintained. Very comfortable bed, luxurious bath, peaceful surroundings. Excellent breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring Cascais on foot. Lots of restaurants, wine bars, shops, waterfront, train station close by. The staff are kind and attentive.

  Amazing stay, made our trip memorable

  Liked: We had a great stay! The owner was so kind and welcoming. The property is beautiful- clean and well maintained but still has so much charm. The location is walkable to everything in Cascais. We would love to come back! Oh and of course the cute dog Cheeky on property was a big plus too:)

  Outstanding in every way

  Liked: Outstanding in every way. The Hotel is an authentic old Portuguese summer chalet in original condition throughout (apart from bathroom modernisations and a lift). The owner is extremely obliging and helpful with amazing breakfasts and home made treats available all day. Also, the perfect location for the Ironman event in October.

  Liked: The place is beautiful, very central, the staff extremely kind and it is very clean. The owner Maria is an amazing baker and every morning there were cakes freshly baked for breakfast. We loved staying at Chalet Ficalho!

  The host was amazing

  Liked: Absolutely stunning. Beautiful property. Host Maria was a sweet heart. Nice pool area.

  Disliked: Location, location, location. Lots of history. It was like walking back in time. Beautiful accommodation and the breakfast was amazing.
