  A beautifully presented property with excellent breakfast service and genuinely welcoming staff, unfortunately let down

  Liked: The property is beautifully laid out, with attractive grounds, pleasant surroundings and a welcoming atmosphere. The overall design and outdoor areas create a lovely setting for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was particularly impressive, both in terms of quality and the service provided. The kitchen and dining staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive and genuinely service-minded. Their warm hospitality, professionalism and willingness to assist made a very positive impression throughout our stay. They deserve particular recognition for their excellent attitude towards guests. The property clearly has considerable potential, and the attractive surroundings, together with the outstanding breakfast service, were undoubtedly the highlights of our visit.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, our stay was significantly affected by two major discrepancies between the advertised room description and the accommodation we actually received. The most serious issue was the complete lack of soundproofing. Despite the room being specifically advertised as soundproofed, the reality was quite the opposite. The walls appeared exceptionally thin, and noise travelled remarkably easily between rooms and surrounding areas. This resulted in considerable disturbance throughout our stay, seriously affecting our sleep quality and overall comfort. We raised this concern during our stay, but unfortunately, the response fell well short of the professional and considerate customer service we would reasonably expect. Our concerns were not addressed in a satisfactory manner, which made the situation even more disappointing. The second major discrepancy concerned the advertised garden view. We had specifically booked a room overlooking the garden, yet our actual view consisted of a staircase and machinery. This was clearly not what had been described or what we had reasonably expected when making our reservation. These two discrepancies were particularly disappointing, as accurate descriptions of room facilities and views are fundamental to making an informed booking decision. Although the swimming pool and surrounding areas were visually appealing, the pool itself would benefit from more frequent cleaning. We repeatedly noticed dead flies and other insects floating in the water, which detracted from an otherwise attractive outdoor environment.
