Rude Reception Staff, Rough around the Edges but Good stay overall

Liked: Location is amazing if you are visiting the Sanctuary of Fatima - just a short 5-10min walk across to it and it is amazing. The food in the restaurant and the restaurant staff were also very good - I was very positively surprised with the quality of food in the buffet. Although there was little variety, the food was actually very very good.

Disliked: Reception staff was extremely rude to me and my family and gave us a hard time on how the booking was made through the website and what was requested - apparently they did not receive some of the information. Regardless, the behaviour was unacceptable. The hotel also shows significant signs of wear and tear with damaged walls and floors and this is a result also of poor quality finishes in the rooms.

Room was good as was location - pool too small

Disliked: The refrigerator in the room didn’t work - when we asked the staff they said that’s normal because it’s summer?? The scrambled eggs tasted weird - we asked and they told us they came as a liquid and weren’t really scrambled onsite.
